And to keep the thread going...we were at a function recently in Dublin and met a fellow who, as we chatted, said his wife's mother was from Castlebar. He called his wife over to speak with us, and she is a niece of Muriel Mc Ginty and all the other members of the Mc Ginty family. As far as I know, her mother is the eldest of the girls in that family and I think her mother's name is Mary, but not sure. We had a great chat about Castlebar and how she used visit her grandparents on Mc Hale Road.
