In a short period of pensive mood the other day, I was thinking of the radio ads or as we said back then, the ads on the wireless. Do you remember any?
One that comes to mind is the one with Harry Thullier at 8.30 or 8.45 am. on the Kelloggs cornflakes show, with the cock crowing.It brings back memories of eating the breakfast and getting ready to scoot off to school.
What ones do you recall and how do you remember them now? Such matters remind me of a remark I was told about when a youngster asked his grandfather, "Grandad, when you listened to the radio long ago, what did you look at"?? Interesting how the young mind thinks!
