My mother used to buy a score of eggs from Lavelles travelling shop.Mam like her eggs fresh from the country,brown ones.We would also get some sweets as a treat.We lived on Turlough Road close to town so to me it was unusual that we would buy from a travelling shop.Its arrival always caused great excitement.By the way,how many eggs were in a score?
