If sufficient funds are obtained - effectively we are selling castlebar.ie email addresses - and it's not a huge gap to be made up the www.castlebar.ie website will continued as it has done - a voluntary website updated 365 days a year including Christmas day for which no one gets paid to get up early and organise a front page every day of the week.

Otherwise it will cease to exist. But it's simply a matter of paying hosting charges and some accountancy and legal fees needed to change the current arrangements for the site which are no longer appropriate. for some reason the CRO doesn't appreciate the voluntary nature of the site and actually requires us to stump up their fees!

At the weekend we will publish the totals received so far and state where they are going.
