it would take more than a shower of rain to spoil the day in Lahardane, it used to bee a great day out years ago helping to bring cattle/shhep to be sold but there was very often someone would try & buy your animals on the way to the fair but thankfully it did not allways work so you carried on to the village, i think there used to be one on the 29th Of June, is this still on
