Lovely Photographs, I visited the site in 1977 as part of a motocycle tour around Ireland. I had not known of the disaster until then but sometime later I read an article in the Irelands Own,!!!, which gave the whole history and background to the disaster. There are so many interesting stories of the local railways around Ireland, eg. Westport- Achill that are now forgotten to the the present generation. Well done with the photos and the newspaper clip.
