I beleive there were two sisters that had a shop up near Downes garage. Geraghty and they sold sweets and sweepstake tickets ?
Interesting to see Blackfort Hill without a car in sight. I traipsed that hill many times on the dirt footpath delineated from the road with a string of most irregular kerbstones. I note you snapped outside Kathleen Egans, perhaps you had stopped to listen to her practice her singing !
