Many happy memories of Duxie, the Queen of Castle Street. Her father, Tarby Mitchell, was on the Castlebar Mitchels team which brought the first county senior foorball title to Castlebar in the 1880s. Peter Killeen's grandfather was also on the team. Duxie's sons, Seán and Mickey, brought All-Ireland minor medals to Mayo. And, of course, Duxie was grandmother of the legendary Mick Byrne, Main Street, Castlebar. Up the 'Bar!
