I did durin the '70's. The King family had a very large three story building in their yard called the "Slaughter House" and it overlooked the Lawn.The building was used by the late Tom Keenan who was a butcher.However, we used to climb down the back of the building and hop into the Lawn - incredibly dangerous,I know.We would then follow the wall at the rear of the houses up Spencer Street & meet all the different families,who alot had "huts" at the back of their houses.The nuns or farmer would chase after us ...
