I think and hope Saleen is still in use Spiceloft. I think new estates with evocative local names are few. We are in the age of the speculative house builders who seems to have assumed the role of naming estates and, being the cultured types that they are, have decreed that their creations of indentical pairs of semis be known as Victoria Place, Belvedere Place and Cherrington place or some other connotation associated with our oppressed past. All to the indifference of the local elected peronages and this being the case I recommend that the next time Duffy`s Circus visits the town, these personages be collectively tied to the hind quarters of an elephant - preferably shortly after feeding time.(ie elephant feeding time)
