Erris Hotel was owned by Michael Tierney, probabaly came from Snugboro, married a woman from Cavan, I think Blake by name. Tragically their only child, Justin, died when he was five or six years old. Gerry Cotter, still going strong, later to become a postman, worked in the Erris Hotel, along with Sean Bourke from Moneen, and Paddy Connor from Kilboyne, Castlebar.
