I worked as a young fellow in the kitchen of the Welcome Inn and sometimes if they needed something,I was sent across to Lawless's shop.I would nearly always be shouted at when I returned because Tommy would tell me to pull up a seat,take down a jar of sweets & engage in great conversation.He was a lovely guy-full of stories about old Castlebar.This thread has brought back great memories as I now work on the oil rigs.Cheers!
