I remember Paddy Fahy had a workshop in Brownville, I recall the brightly painted cart wheels outside and the iron rims being expanded by heating, before being put onto the wheel, and then cold water was thrown on the rim so that it would contract and tighten. Mr. Fahy was a master craftsman.
