When the Sisters of Mercy came to Castlebar their first residance was in the building now occupied by James Cahill,Solicitor,Ellison Street.The stairs etc,still has religious emblems.Re,other long established business there was also Kellys hardware,and funeral undertakers,Langans,The Irish House drapery,Mc Ellins,Hynes Shoes,Irwins,
