With regard to the first part of your post,being out of the loop,I can only surmise: It seems that 'M' has partnered with various sports clubs,that cater to a younger generation. As she is very devoted in motiviating,educating(c/f start-up St Pat's natl. school computer program and internet),and promoting,their progress,and successes. So naturally she is fed ,daiy and weekly their entire curricilum,all stats and great colour photographs. Balina hosts the "Mayo News" and Westport the "Westren people"(or did I get it backwords). My guess is that they donate parcels of news to the sites around them a courtesy if you will. Whether or not there is comunal sharing of of information betwen the CT and Cbar.ie I doubt it. I surmise a working relationship exists,but the twain shall never meet.Besides you can't wipe your arse with the front page of the Cbar.ie,but if your not carefull you can sure as hell get it kicked by any member of the main BB!. In closing 'The Connaugh Telegraph" is the best and the main BB on Castlebar.ie is the most diverse and insane chat room in the world. PS. The jury will disregard all of the above, court adjurned.
