No that was erected to thank Fine Gael Councillor Paddy McGuinness for his role in getting the RTC(GMIT)established.As Chief Whip on Mayo County Council,perhaps he amy get involved in a campaign to have plaques erected in both hospitals.Also the Mayor of Castlebar,Eugene McCormack works in the hospital - He may also get involved too....
