In recent years down the Turlough road there are the King lads whom have kept up the tradition of the wren boys playing the accordian and having the wren bush and whom are keeping up a dying tradition. This to me is a wonderful memory of christmas. Fair play to the king lads members of one of the ould stock of spencer street.
