its interesting to see the Major of castlebar is planning to bring up the idea discussed recently on the board here about commeratating former patients and staff whom worked in St Mary's. Its interesting that the last diploma class had mooted this idea on numerous occassions whilst attending the college but the idea did not bear fruition whilst they were there. So hopefully this can be done without making it a publicity stunt for the politicians and done with dignity and respect remembering those whom had lived there and worked throughout the years.
