Surely the point is that a nostalgia board is for discussion of things that are nostalgic. If a carnivore insisted on discussing the best way to eat half-cooked T-bone steak on a vegan discussion board people would object too.

If there was no alternative perhaps but especially when there's a perfectly adequate board for the discussion of current Castlebar issues such as whether the traffic lights are turned on or off today it's not a big imposition to ask posters to address the main theme of the board.

If the nostalgia board gets diluted then those interested in discussing old Castlebar won't bother to visit any more because they will have to sift through lots of irrelevant stuff to get to the meat. The Nostalgia board is in danger of becoming "Not What it Used to Be" if this kind of dilution is allowed.
