Phil Heenan, McHale Road, Castlebar, has passed away, a lovely, refined gentleman and a wonderful musician. He could work musical wonders with his saxophone. It was a privilege to have known Phil, a man with a genuine touch of class and genius. I know I speak for many when I tender my deepest sympathy to May and family. May the heavens be his bed.
