In my family if I remember correctly 'goodie' was when you put a biscuit or biscuits into a cup of tea and mixed it well to a consistency of - well - something approaching porridge - and then you drank it or ate it with a spoon depending on your preference. Both ate-in and drink-in in it as they say?

There was another similar drink that involved putting a Goillibar or similar into a glass of fizzy orange - Fanta or similar (not sure that Fanta existed back that far - Taylor Keith? Did they do an orange fizz?

That Michelin chef on TV recently had another interesting one - when he was a kid in Belfast they put alka seltzer or baking soda into MiWadi orange to make a fizzy orange drink!
