The Pavilion is not gone yet folks. There will be a number of "last flings" there betwen September and Christmas, before the place is finally closed down. One idea is to hold a number of nostalgia nights featuring the music of the 50's one night, the 60's another night etc. Another idea is to cover one of the tennis courts with a marguee and hold a massive jazz session, with the likes of Paddy Cole and his jazzband. Brendan Bowyer has also been mentioned for a show.
So as Dean Martin used to say on his television show, "keep all those cards and letters coming in folks", with your idea of how we should give The Pavilion its final send off!........Maybe we'll have a night for Nostalgia Board posters from around the world to gather....
