As part of Mayo County Council’s ‘Bealtaine Festival’, the Godmother of Nostalgia, Alice Taylor will give a talk in Castlebar Library on Tuesday, 13th of May 2008 @ 3 pm.
The Festival of Bealtaine is the month-long celebration of creativity in older age and embraces all art forms including literature, theatre, dance, film, storytelling, music, painting and sculpture.
Author of ‘To School through the Fields”, “The Village” etc – Her new book is “The Parish” – a nostalgic look at rural life in Ireland.
As usual all are welcome & Admission is free.
