We are sorry to announce that the Castlebar website is closing down due to threatened legal action by a local newspaper against moderators and posters to the BB - see link below.

Organisations or individuals with webpages on the site should email info@castlebar.ie for details of alternative arrangements for hosting their webpages.

Many thanks to all who made the site such a pleasure to work with over the years. It's worth noting that last month was the highest ever in terms of traffic to the site with over 3.8 million hits.

It is, however no longer possible to run a website such as this on a voluntary basis on a server based in Ireland.
