Interseting it was to read and visit the memorial plaque in st mary's which was unveiled recently. I was delighted to see the past rmemebered but was disappointed to see no mention of this bulletin board which mooted the idea before it was the mayor's idea? can anyone tell me who the lady photographed at the cermony was for advocation ??
Delighted to see the plaque today before I depart to my other home in Liverpool and think it would be interesting to here stories of past characters whom worked there or were residents. Love to hear past stories to tell my own grandchildren. Also was delighted to see how large castlebar was and my stay in local hostelry the welcome inn was entertaining with the staff helpful and friendly. Will return, also what happening with the ruins of the convent ??? Love to browse the board when home.
