the hose was owned by Mr/Mrs.Simms......the field on front was notable ...it had a chestnut tree in the centre shaped like a giant mushroom ....we referred to it as the mushroom tree...we often went up the house to buy buttermilk and we would be greeted by the Simms and their two beautiful pure white huskies....on the station road side from Luddens hill to the main entrance gates inside the concrete wall where jack Cassidy posted many posters ...Duffys circus, Baileys Hippodrome, carnivals in the military barracks and on the mall, Kilroy was here...etc:...well inside that wall was a plantation where we would play cowboys...we had our trails through the trees....in the main field cows grazed freely and all was tranquil...but that was once upon a good time.....
