I seem to remember the old man reffering back to the previous years roll book. I might guess that the books were kept for a certain period ins an cofra,and eveventually shipped to Bliatha Ath Cliath.Prior to being shiped the books were audited by an cigere,and the pertinent numbers extracted for analysis.How many attended,how many did not,and was attendance lower than last year.Yes was the answer in rural schools.The school was eventually closed.Merger,integrate,centralisation,These were the operative words used by the Dept. of education to drive the process. Park national school became a youth hall recreational center.
