I agree wholeheartedly. It was originally slated to be posted on the BB. But for me!, alas that is not to be. You see, I aquiese to the wise foresight from the powers that are. That govern and oversee the smooth running of Castlebar.iE. As Mr Dylan puts it, in his running dialogue between Frankie Lee, and Judas Priest,"the moral of this story - the moral of this song ,is simply, that one should never be, where one does not belong!." Over the years many many messages have been posted here that simply did not belong. To indignantly shuffle the customer off to Buffalo, instead of dealing with their question or comment, and then diplomatically steering them to the correct department, is not merley pridefully rude ,but counter-constructive.Humour is powerfull medicine(Patch Adams),universal, and cannot be boxed up. The Irish people use humour instinctivly as a small respite from the worries of a worried world. At the end of the old Weekly radio programme by the Walton Co. of Dublin featuring traditional Celidhe music, the anouncer would come on and in his signature accent would exort people that if they did sing a song that it would be an Irish one. For to-day, therefore i shall respectivly suggest that we sing "When Irish Eyes are Smiling", in your hymnal, page 35,cordially ,Jimmy 'O Dea.
