I only remember the County Cinema Spencer St.The best part of going to the cinema was to excape from the PIT to the balcony via the middle paying section. It was only to see if you could evade Mssrs.Botha Roach,Willie Ainsworth[as he would say,Il will make a football out of your arse if I catch you!]and Pat Carney[all RIP.]However the crack was much better in the pit so it was back down to enjoy the gallery as much as the film! A trigger bar at half time in Goldens or Mrs.Lyons Now That was a night out in style.
