God rest his kind soul we are diminished by his sudden passing-
Fr. Tom was a shining example of Christian kindness and I have
warm memories of his encouraging personality. On a recent visit to
St. Gerald's College, for our Past Pupils' Reunion (1958-2008), we
recalled those people who have had a positive influence on our lives and Fr. Tom Shannon was mentioned with affection. May he now enjoy the company of the Saints and of his many friends from
Castlebar who have gone before him R.I.P
