Well Jackobite As someone who lives on the road I go along with every thing you say,I was a late comer to the road the year 1962,and all we had to play with was marbles on the side of the road.We had races with a wheel of a bike and a stick no spokes, and if you had a tube and tyre on your wheel you had a rolls royce,At the moment there is a big revamp in mchale park they are spending millions, and it will be one of the best gaa grounds outside Dublin.Well going to Kevin O Malleys shop to buy sweets it was money balls, Peggy legs, black jacks, and a ice cream between two wavers and to get the money for these treats was after a football match in mchale park, you would go around after the crowd had left you would search for empty bottles and get a refund in O Malleys shop, but today boys and girls would not stop to pick up money of the ground unless it was a lot of money, how times have changed.Well that is my bit for the moment will talk again jackobite.
