aris .johnny's grandfather was a diminutive man ....but in size only.....his character his principles were magnanamous.....he was a dentist....and denturist.....and walked with a certain societal gate ....but neither was he pretentious or pompous.....he was aman of distinction ....an intellectual.....a justice of old....presiding in westport....he often came to our house on business.....usually to buy a pair of trousers.....but one kind only.....the barrister type.....black serge with stripes....he would often regale us with stories of his days on the bench....he was a character .....and he knew his weaknessess....cider was one....he would recount stories of fitzgerald kenny.....that were fascinating....
