a cara....."butch".....your posting was refreshing....and for me ....a true castebarite....it bore the arrow of fire that motivates me to allow the pandoras box of incarcerated memories to be borne on the warm winds that flow across the distant miles.....to settle on the atmospheric umbrella that envelopes the town i love so well......you make reference to a term i used some time ago in another forum posting.....nome de plume....with reference to....townie....gallunach....i think means soap...? and seosambh is joseph....and of course you answered ....by saying .....joe soap.....to him i say .....neither am i lonely....nor am i an osterich.......for gb shaw said .....if you cannot get rid of the family skeleton....you may as well make it dance.....your hearty welcome to the board is indeed heartwarming and special....for a life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable...but more useful....than a life spent doing nothing.....for my life there were no mistakes .... ....joyce said...a man of genius makes no mistakes ....his errors are volitional......and are the portals of discovery,.....in the sense i continuosly did not know what i was doing and did not have the brains to make changes....my checkered past....is a mosaic.....as encyclopedic as my ...golden memories....i remember many years ago in my last year at st geralds writing a short story for some magazine that was popolar then....its name is no longer available.....but my story was called ......i hired a cop.....the editor wrote me back and wondered about my criminal insights....he remarked that i wrote it as if i were part of the crime and players....i guess way back then the canvass that was to become the backdrop to what was to become my " piece de resistance"....was already in oils.....gb shaw again said.....few people think more than2 or 3 times a year ....i have made an international reputation for myself by thinking 1 or 2 times a week....
agus ta me go h-anna mait...as regards the craic in calgary....well.....i guess its ...mighty....but although i have been to calgary many times....they don't need another cowboy on their western plains.....i live in toronto...also known as hogtown.....and right now the toronto international film festival is in full swing.....with the city getting its share of the spotlight....i have been absent from the board in the last few days as ....business ...took me to montreal.....but i'm back.....and the flood gates of my mind are busting at the seams....as jolson said....ya ain't heard nothin' yet....so now that i'm back in the saddle.....my next memory gem will be about the rivalry between the political geniuses of the '40s.....tom joyce a character of note in caslebar way back once upon a good time....as he stood on a kitchen chair on mchale road to giv e political pitch...said....i often qoute myself...it adds spice to my conversation....may the winds from my place to yours be fanned by laughter ...tears ....may the road go on forever....
anois.......tog go bog e......
