There were two large limestone slabs ,marking Frenchmens graves ,buried where they fell in Tom Nearys yard at the junction of Sion Hill and Pontoon Rd .I have not been home recently so I dont even know if the house is still standing .Old Tom (Seamus Nearys Dad ) pointed them out to me nearly 50 years ago .
