Wild Geese

Posted by Murrisk on October 14, 2008 at 15:05:20:

At the battle of Blenheim ((August 13, 1704), in Bavaria, the Irish Wild Geese featured prominantly especially in fighting around the Oberglau. Indeed they were credited by John Churchill (Earl of Markborough) with almost tilting the battle in favour of the French.

Maybe there is an historian out there who could answer if this was their last battle on the French side ?
