a cara....the ansboro family had a bar and grocery store on main street until the '60s......they were a well established business as far back as i remember from the '40s ....gabriel ansboro was in my class in st. pats.....in fact in the early '50s gabriel had major surgery....myself and noel mccarthy used to visit him in the county,,,,it was a large family.....i bottled stout for them in the early '50s ....just a short stint.....i hung around that turf for a few years as i was a very good friend of noel mccarthy.....i believe the family relocated to england......but i am not sure.....
