Hi Old Stock, It is interesting that there were two Mellor families, I don't think I am related to Francie but maybe there was a link.

My great-grandfather, Lewis, and his family moved to Hampshire in c 1925-26. I understand he ran a taxi which was commandeered in 1922. I also understand that my great-grandmother, Lavinia, ran the shop. They had 5 children, Edith, Charlie, Annie, Lewis (Lugie) and Ben. The men were all bakers. Judy
