Jew hall, never heard of it being a synagogue, thought it was always a nickname maybe a la sin-agog???

Parsons owned it back in the 70's 80's when it was an amusement arcade / den of iniquity / pool hall, etc. it would have semi-legendary status in the minds of young boys who grew up in Castlebar in the 70's or 80's as that's where all the 'hard men' hung out. Ah the innocence of it all.

I've no idea what the building was back in it's heyday but it was to the right of the 1st stone archway on the left hand side of Main street if you were heading up the town.

Supermacs (chipper), was the 4 Lanterns (chipper) and before that was Bernardo's and before that was Caffolas.
