I think that the statue on Chapel Street should be removed. What on earth does it represent only sadness and terrible memories every time someone passes it. Even the little boy in it is looking up at the Brother with sad eyes. It's a down right insult to portray anything other than what really happened in these schools. Makes me sick and I'm 30, with 3 children. I never experienced any of these horrific events but my heart is heavy, thinking that they did occur and especially to innocent children. Some may disagree with my thoughts concerning the statue. It is only my opinion but I'm sure I'm not alone.
