Hi paul,mabie you are thinking of my sister Maura Corcoran,she had a hairdressing saloon over the brownvilla flats back in the swinging 60s.She was the first female,I think in Ireland to cut mens hair in a Ladies hairdressing Saloon.The Connaught Telegraph done an article on her ,the story was also picked up by English Tabloids .Her picture,with a few of us guys getting our hair cut appeared on the English Mirror.
