Bad and all as I am, I was not involved with beer- barrelled,bottled or otherwise - the year before I was born! The date is off for any of my family and I can't see the Mall connection. Speaking of the Mall, well done to Webster and the rest who organised the event on Saturday. The weather didn't help but the music was first class and the dog show brought some of the finest bitches ever to grace the sacred ground. The new tennis club is a credit as well. I had a couple of most enjoyable hours there Saturday too. Local people working hard to make a difference, it shows what can be achieved.
