Indeed a Fred Young perished aboard the Titanic. A brother Private John T. Young of the Connaught Rangers died as a result of suicide following the death of his brother.

It is important that any information regarding local history is recorder for posterity, otherwise information will be lost forever.

Anybody with local history information should use the excellent facility of the Nostalgia Board to record such information.
