In relation to recent Nostalgia Board queries & comments regarding Castlebar Pantomime -
The only Committee members who obtain a fee for expenses are those who are directly involved in Production. Not all Committee members involve themselves in Production & take on other roles which do not entail expenses.
Castlebar Pantomime last held a General Meeting in June of this year which was advertised through usual channels, inviting all members & those interested to attend. A Treasurers Report as per standard Committees practice was presented & read through by those who attended the meeting. Any queries by those present were addressed on the night by the Pantomime Treasurer.
Finally, Nan Monaghan was interviewed recently by the Connaught Telegraph & while she will be greatly missed by Castlebar Pantomime for her outstanding contribution, she publicly spoke of her reasons for leaving the Pantomime Group.
Sincere thanks is extended to those who took the time to congratulate Castlebar Pantomime on its 25th Anniversary. The support of the people of Mayo has been greatly appreciated by Pantomime over the past 25 years!
Any further queries will be more than happily addressed by Castlebar Pantomime Committee from those who wish to personally approach the Committee, rather than hiding behind pseudonym's in what is a commendable facility ran by Castlebar.ie for good natured nostalgia!
