I'm not sure where you got the impression that Australians are sympathetic to their government. I spent 7 years as a civil servant there and I can tell you the Aussies have a healthy contempt for all organs of the state. I suggest also that you don't use the word 'abbo' as it is still considered perjorative. Given the ongoing problems being experienced by the Aboriginal population, your comments come across as patronising, which I know from your previous contributions was not your inyenyion.
