I was interested in the story about the Pluck family in Out and About by Old Stock in the Connaught Telegraph. I went to school with some of the family and I think Oliver Pluck worked in Josie Bourke's garage, Ellison Street. The story in the CT brought back many happy memories of times past. Like so many other Castlebar families, they emigrated but it is nice to know they still maintain links with Castlebar.
