A few of us with nothing better to do gathered that morning at JB Moran's corner just to witness the chaos - but there wasn't any, and it all went very smoothly.
They installed a small temporary traffic island in the road between JBs and Parsons with a sign weighed down by sand bags warning drivers 'no entry' to Main Street from that end.
