There was a farmer who would frequent McHale road back inthe sisties woo had the larhers horse that i ever clapped two eyes on, my mother for some reason had a name him, she used to refer to him as the "Bollawan', I think he used to sell direct to the public carrotts, parsips and spuds. One could end up with a lot of dirt from the potatoes bucause they were not washed and brushed like the ones I find in todays markets where everthing is wraped and presented to the public clean and tidy, but this only reminds me of Ireland and the Bold Bollawan's clay cladden praties.
