You certainly evoked a memory of singing the Christmas carols with Fr. Shannon in St. Marys and the County and the "Home" on Christmas day.
It truly is a fond memory.
Having left Ireland MANY years ago; I have never heard the carol "How beautiful upon the mountain" ever since I left.
It was always the processional hymn/carol after 12 mass on Christmas day!! Definitely, one of my favourites!
