Sometimes I wonder if I am imagining things, but I distinctly remember the pantos in the town hall long before 25 years ago....they were simply terrific....included Henry Downes, P. Flynn, Charlie Dowling from the tax office, Tom Mc Greal, John Fitzgerald, Angela Denning, Mc Greal family, Mc Ginty's?,Jim Daly, Andy Mc Tigue, Andy Redmond and many many more that just won't come to mind...Seamus Chambers... and the orchestra of course including the names of Helen Daly, Angela Corcoran, Nancy O'Brien, Sue Murphy, Fr. Shannon, Tony Conway, Kevin Bourke etc. They were great, and like today's hard working crew. provided great enjoyment too. Gone but not forgotten.
