Hi Brian, according to the book “Louis Brennan – Inventor Extraordinaire” by Norman Tomlinson, John Hallewell Publications, 1980 his private life was tragic. His daughter Norah died in the influenza epidemic of 1919 and his wife and the remaining two children had serious health disabilities. It mentions that his other daughter Julie has been continuously hospitalised for over 50 years.
His wife died on 24/4/1931 and his son Charles (Michael) on 23/11/1933.
That’s all the information it gives – Hope it’s of some use.
